Founded in 1991 in the heart of Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, Rudrapur Solvents Pvt. Ltd. (RSPL) began as the vision of Mr. Om Prakash Bansal and Mr. Ashok Bansal, who had already established a strong reputation in the rice milling business since 1970 with M/s Bansal Dal Mill. Recognizing the untapped potential of rice bran—a byproduct of rice milling—Mr. Bansal set out to transform this humble raw material into high-value products for the food and livestock industries.

RSPL started commercial production on June 1, 1993, with a clear mission: to manufacture a comprehensive range of Rice Bran Oil and De-Oiled Rice Bran (DORB). The company quickly distinguished itself through transparent business ethics, customer-centric values, and a commitment to uncompromising quality. In just a few years, RSPL’s name became synonymous with quality in India’s oil extraction industry.

RSPL sources rice bran from around 500 rice mills across India, building strong relationships with suppliers in states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, and many more.
RSPL’s quality of Deoiled Rice Bran (DORB) became amongst one of India’s leading quality. The company’s focus on quality parameters—such as maintaining minimum protein levels, optimal fiber content, and low sand, silica, and ash—set industry benchmarks.

With more than 38 years of experience he is well-respected in the business community, having served as President of the Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry for nine terms and holding leadership roles in various industry and social organizations.
Mr. Ankit Bansal
A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Mr. Ankit Bansal brings modern management practices and financial acumen to RSPL. He has also authored a Book on DORB With a title “DORB- A BOON FOR LIVESTOCK”.

An MBA by qualification, Mrs. Renuka Bansal ensures robust internal controls and the effective execution of company policies, playing a key role in operational excellence.
