Rudrapur Solvents Private Limited (“RSPL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to handling personal data responsibly. This Privacy Notice explains what we collect through rudrapursolvents.com, why we use it, and how you can contact us about it.

This Notice is for website visitors, prospective buyers, suppliers and other business contacts. It should be read with the notice shown beside any form or opt-in used on our website.

Personal data we collect

The data we collect depends on how you interact with us.

  • When you make an enquiry: the product selected, your name, email address, mobile number and the information you include in your enquiry.
  • When you separately choose DORB updates on WhatsApp: your name (if provided), mobile number, email address (if provided), the source of the opt-in, notice and consent version, affirmative action, date and time, and current consent or withdrawal status. WhatsApp updates are not required to respond to an enquiry.
  • When you use the website: limited technical and usage information generated by your browser or services needed to operate, secure and measure the site, such as device/browser information, pages visited and approximate usage data. This may include cookies or similar technologies where they are used.

Please do not send information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Why we use personal data

  • to respond to your request, provide product information, quotations or business assistance, and maintain a business record of the interaction;
  • to operate, secure and improve our website and services; and
  • to meet applicable legal, accounting, tax, security or record-keeping requirements.

We use your mobile number for DORB price updates, market insights and relevant business updates on WhatsApp only where you have separately opted in. You can continue to make an ordinary enquiry without opting in to marketing updates.

How WhatsApp community links work

Before a website visitor proceeds through a WhatsApp community link, RSPL displays a clear explanation of the purpose and an optional affirmative choice. If you choose to proceed, we record the consent event in RSPL’s consent register and open the relevant WhatsApp community link. WhatsApp and its services are operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy practices; please review those practices before joining.

Consent, withdrawal and your choices

Where we ask for consent, it is voluntary and purpose-specific. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by:

  • replying STOP to an RSPL WhatsApp update where that option is available; or
  • writing to office@rudrapursolvents.com with the mobile number or email address concerned.

We will update our suppression record so that marketing messages are stopped. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out before the withdrawal, or information we must retain for a legal requirement or a legitimate business record.

You may also contact us to ask about your personal data, request correction or erasure where applicable, raise a concern, or exercise rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

How we share and protect data

We use service providers that help us operate our website, email, form and consent-recording processes. They may process relevant data only to provide those services to RSPL. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect RSPL or others, or in connection with a lawful business transaction.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Retention

We retain enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond, manage the business relationship, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve issues, or protect RSPL’s rights. We retain the minimum consent and suppression information needed to respect an opt-out and demonstrate the relevant consent choice. We review information periodically and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required, subject to applicable law.

Cookies and third-party links

Your browser may permit you to manage cookies through its settings. Some website functions may not work properly if you block essential cookies. Our site may link to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Notice.

Children

Our website and business communications are intended for business and general audiences, not children. Please do not provide personal data of a child through our website. If we learn that we have collected such information without appropriate authority, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice as our practices or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will always be shown on this page.
